Privacy Policy
Last updated: 3 October 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Horizn ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and protects your personal information when you use our daily planning application, website, and related services (collectively, the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
1. Information We Collect
1.1 Information you provide
- Account information: your name, email address, and password (stored securely as a hash) when you create an account.
- Profile and preferences: working hours, timezone, focus mode settings, and other preferences you configure.
- Task and planning data: tasks, lists, deadlines, schedules, notes, and descriptions you create or import.
- Billing information: payment details are processed by our payment provider, Stripe. We do not store your full card number on our servers.
1.2 Information from integrations
When you connect a third-party service to Horizn, we retrieve and store the data needed to provide the integration. This may include:
- Google Calendar: calendar events, titles, times, and descriptions.
- Gmail: starred email messages (sender, subject, body, and metadata) that you choose to turn into tasks.
- Outlook: calendar events and starred messages you convert into tasks.
- Asana: tasks, projects, due dates, and assignee information from your connected workspace.
- Slack: messages you react to or save, along with channel and sender metadata.
- Monday.com: items, boards, and column values from your connected account.
We only request the minimum scopes required to provide each integration and never use your integration data for advertising. You can disconnect any integration at any time from your account settings, which stops further data collection.
1.3 Information collected automatically
- Usage data: how you interact with the Service, such as features used and actions taken, to improve the product.
- Device and technical data: browser type, operating system, and IP address.
- Cookies and similar technologies: used to keep you signed in and remember your preferences.
